Description
A view of the Bountiful Mormon (LDS) Temple Sunrise. The Bountiful Temple is the 47th Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the 8th constructed in Utah. The temple was dedicated in 1995, by church president Howard W. Hunter. The Temple shares a common floor plan with the Timpanogos LDS Temple located in American Fork, Utah. On May 22, 2016, the Temple made headlines when a lightning bolt struck and damaged the Angel Moroni statue atop the Temple's spire.
