Most Utahans would call this the Wasatch Back, or the eastern side of the Wasatch Range. This spot is also known for the Sundance Ski Resort, owned by movie actor and director Robert Redford. Mt. Timpanogos rises to an elevation of 11,752 ft, is a popular hiking, and is one of the most rugged looking mountains in the state of Utah.
