Artist's Description

The following petroglyph panel is located in Sego Canyon off of I-70 in Southeastern Utah. Its an example of the Fremont Indian petroglyph style, one of three distinct native american cultures to leave petroglyphs and pictographs at the location (the others being Ute and Archaic Indians). The Fremont Indians inhabited the region Northeast of I-70 from approximately 100 A.D.-1300 A.D.
